Job Description: |
The Sarasota
Early Childhood Mental Health Partnership, one of SAMHSA’s
new systems of care projects funded in 2005, is currently
taking applications for a Public Information Specialist. The
successful candidate will direct the social marketing,
public education and public relation activities for the
Partnership.
The position has now been formally advertised, and we will
be accepting applications through August 14, 2006. Since the
position has been established as a State of Florida
position, all applications must be submitted through the
State of Florida’s electronic hiring portal, known as
“People

Job Requirements: |
Computer
experience in Windows environment, Microsoft Office (Access,
Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and ability and ability to learn
and utilize other software programs. Possess excellent oral
and written communication skills appropriate for children,
parents and professionals. Demonstrate problem solving
skills, decision making skills, time management skills,
effective public speaker, attention to details, demonstrate
independent mobility within the community and use of sound
judgment. Ability to research and analyze, maintain client
confidentiality according to established policies, federal
and state statutes, interpret, adapt and apply guidelines
and procedures, work independently and utilize initiative,
ability to be organized and meet deadlines, work in
partnership with other team members and other service
providers. Full time access to a reliable vehicle with
appropriate insurance coverage. |
